A stolen garbage truck has been recovered after it was reported missing earlier this week. According to Carroll Chief of Police, Brad Burke, the truck was taken from the Carroll Refuse Service (CRS) lot at 326 North Carroll St. between 8 p.m. Tuesday evening and 5 a.m. Wednesday morning. The 2013 Freightliner has since been recovered at Hobbs Pit. The $50,000 truck sustained minor damages before being returned to its owners. No arrests have been made and an investigation into the theft is underway. The vehicle is white, has a gray CRS logo on the door and utilizes a rear-loading system.
