The Omaha, Neb. Police Department is conducting an investigation into the death of a former Lake View woman. The body of 23-year-old Lauren Goodenow was found under a walking bridge near Aksarben Village shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday morning. Foul play is not suspected. Goodenow was a 2012 graduate of East Sac County High School and was currently working to earn a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the College of St. Mary’s in Omaha. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, at the United Church of Christ in Schleswig.
