The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) has released the open house dates and times for students and their families to attend before the start of the 2017-18 school year. Incoming freshman orientation will be held on Monday, Aug. 21 in the Carroll High commons at 3:30 p.m. Parents will gather later that evening in the auditorium at 6 p.m. for a meeting with high school staff. Seniors can pick up their schedules on Aug. 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Junior schedules can be picked up Aug. 15 at the same times. Schedules for freshman and sophomores are available Aug. 16. The Carroll Middle School, Adams Elementary and Fairview Elementary orientations will all be held Monday, Aug. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in their respective buildings. Preschool Orientation is held at a later date at Fairview on Friday, Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All students and parents are encouraged to attend the open houses, and school supplies and lunch money can be brought at that time. K-12 classes start Wednesday, Aug. 23 and preschool begins Monday, Aug. 28.
