The City of Carroll is announcing a major repair to Main Street that will close down a section between 13th and 14th Streets beginning Monday, Aug. 7. With removal, replacement and patching work scheduled, the closure, barring any weather delays, is expected to last through Friday, Aug. 11. Detours will not be designated, but 13th, 14th and Court Streets will be open to through traffic. As much access as possible will be made for properties located within the block-long closure.
