One of Carroll’s most popular summer events will be coming to Graham Park this Saturday, Aug. 12 with the Carroll Young Professional’s Carrollfest. There is an entire day of activities scheduled with fun for everyone, beginning with the 5K walk/run, sand volleyball, a three-on-three basketball tournament, the Kids’ Health and Safety Fair, human hamster ball races, a text messaging competition and so much more. Things will really get rolling as evening approaches and the mechanical bull ride opens, giant Jenga and human foosball competitions take place and free live entertainment hits the band shell with Wild Ambition from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Carroll’s own, Bad Authority from 9 p.m. to midnight. Admission to Carrollfest and the Kids’ Health and Safety Fair is free, and a $10 wristband will allow kids unlimited access to the inflatables, face painting and balloon animals from Becca the Balloon Lady.
