Carroll residents may be experiencing low water pressures for the second time this week as another water main has broken near the same location as the one on Monday. City workers responded Thursday afternoon to West 6th Street between Putnam Avenue and Industrial Park Road to address the issue. This break occurred approximately 100 feet east of the previous break. Citizens may see a drop in pressure and discoloration as a result of the break. Water service to businesses adjacent to 6th Street west of Highway 71 will be shut off during the repair. City crews are at the scene repairing the break. Monday’s break was fixed later that evening and a similar time-frame should be expected today. Concerns our questions should be directed to the Carroll Public Works Department at 712-792-1000.
