Teen Rolls Jeep, Striking Utility Pole Monday Night

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover accident last night (Monday) on Highway 4 at 265th Street, south of Jefferson at approximately 5:08 p.m. A 17-year-old juvenile male was operating a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, owned by Robert Schroeder of Scranton, when he lost control and rolled into the west ditch, striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle was a complete loss and there was an estimated $1,000 in damage to the pole.
