A Carroll man has pled guilty and sentenced for misdemeanor assault charges stemming from an incident in early August. Twenty-four-year-old Rohan St. Anthony McLachlan was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but four of those days suspended. Following his release, he will be placed on two-year probation. On Aug. 9, McLachlan entered a residence at the Fairview Apartments in Carroll and punched a female living there at the time. The victim was able to positively identify McLachlan from past interactions which are believed to be the reason for the assault.
