A Scranton man led authorities on a brief chase Friday afternoon that ended in a corn field. At approximately 2:48 p.m. a Greene County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to pull over 41-year-old Joseph Blackmon for driving while suspended. Blackmon fled, leading the deputy on a chase throughout Scranton before he drove the car about 150 yards into a corn field. Arrest warrants have been requested for felony eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
