The Jefferson Police Department is investigating an incident involving three juveniles that occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday. An officer was requested at the Dairy Queen restaurant on North Elm Street. Employees reported that the three juveniles ordered food through the drive thru, and after receiving their food, the driver threw a lit firecracker into the store through the drive up window. No injuries were reported. The officer is reviewing video footage of the incident to help identify the suspects in this matter.
