Main Street Iowa business specialists, Robin Bostrom and Jim Thompson, will be helping Jefferson business and building owners find out what the Main Street program can offer them in a special Business After Hours presentation, “Incentives for Main Street.” The approximately 45-minute presentation will begin at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9 at the Elk’s Lodge in Jefferson. The Main Street team will review what programs are available at the state and federal levels, including tax credit programs, rebates and more from local utility providers and other local incentive programs. There will also a brainstorming session with examples from other communities. This free presentation is being sponsored by the Economic Vitality Committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
