A simple request for assistance in getting an unwanted visitor to leave their home led to the arrest of a Des Moines woman on outstanding warrants. The Jefferson Police Department reports that at approximately 2:58 p.m. on Tuesday, they responded to a residence on North Oak Street to remove an unwanted female. Upon their arrival, officers learned that 28-year-old Stevie Renee Hibner was wanted on a Greene County arrest warrant for failure to appear on a fifth-degree theft charge. Hibner was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center.
