The Carroll Police Department arrested a Des Moines man this weekend after a single-vehicle accident. At approximately 7:43 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, police responded to the 100 block of West 18th Street where a parked car had been struck. Twenty-two-year-old Jacob Jeffery Venteicher was then arrested for failure to maintain control and operating while intoxicated. Venteicher’s Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was recorded at .112.
