As the Halloween holiday draws ever closer, Sac County Conservation is finding themselves going a little batty. This coming Wednesday, Oct. 18, the next Knee High Naturalists programs will focus on, you guessed it, bats. These free programs for children two to four years old will be held at two different times, 10 a.m. and again at 5 p.m. at the Sac County Conservation Center in Hagge Park near Sac City. Children and their accompanying adults will participate in crafts, activities, hear a story, “Stellaluna,” and then have a discussion about bats. Space for each session is limited to the first 16 children. Registration is required and can be done through the contact information included below.
