There was minimal damage and no injuries reported in a two-vehicle accident Monday north of Carroll. At approximately 7:59 a.m., the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Highway 71 and 150th Street. An initial investigation into the incident revealed that 32-year-old Kyle Bradley Carroll of Lytton was traveling southbound on Highway 71 in a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and stopped to negotiate a left-hand turn onto 150th Street. A 2000 Chevrolet 1500, driven by 17-year-old Noah Anthony King of Auburn, was also traveling southbound on 71, but failed to slow and stop in time, rear-ending the Carroll vehicle. There was an estimated $1,250 in damage to the Grand Prix and $250 to the King truck. King was cited for failure to maintain control.
