Additional Arrests Made In Storm Lake Burglary And Vandalism Investigation

The Storm Lake Police Department has made two additional arrests connected to a string of burglaries and vandalism since July. Friday morning, a 15-year-old male and 17-year-old male were arrested and charged with third degree burglary, a class D felony. The two suspects were processed and released to a parent. Four other male juveniles were taken into custody Thursday in connection to the crimes and charged with multiple counts of felony burglary and criminal mischief. Those four were processed and transported to the Youth Detention Facility in Cherokee pending a court date. The charges against the juveniles stem from a three-month investigation into burglary and vandalism at the Field of Dreams concession stand, Storm Lake High School stadium, parks department buildings and a storage shed at Memorial Ball Field.
