A Carroll business helped local families in need this past weekend by offering free maintenance to their vehicles. Pro Auto Sales and Service kicked off the Keeping Cars Kickin’ Family Service Day at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. Pro Auto teamed up with New Opportunities to get the word out to families who could benefit from this event. Owner, Bobby Molak, says he and his staff just really wanted to make a difference in people’s lives.
About 10 families had appointments during the three hour event at the shop. Molak says jobs ranged from simple fixes to safety checks.
All of these services were provided at no cost to the clients. Molak says the real credit for the success of the event goes to the people at New Opportunities and his staff.
Keeping Cars Kickin’ is a part of Family Service Day, an award-winning organization based out of Virginia that aims to help businesses benefit by helping individuals in their communities. Follow the links below for more information about the organizations involved.
