The Sac City Public Library is inviting patrons to join their staff this weekend to celebrate the holiday season. On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Sac City Friends of the Library are sponsoring a two-hour event at the library. Attendees will be treated to live guitar and violin performances, children’s crafts and a silent auction. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance and giving away books and snacks. Sac City’s Christmas in the library kicks off at 1 p.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. All proceeds from the benefit will be used towards library programs.
