In a message from Carroll Community School District Superintendent, Rob Cordes, it is made clear that school officials and local law enforcement have been made aware of, and are currently dealing with, a potential threat this evening (Tuesday). At approximately 8 p.m., a video was posted online in which a student from the high school says he was making a “final statement before something happens tomorrow.” After being up for only two hours, the video had already garnered just shy of 3,000 views, with many of those viewers forwarding it on to the Carroll Police Department. With the safety of the students and general public as their priority, the school district and local authorities are working together to bring closure to the situation.
