Fort Dodge Man Dies In Rollover Accident Near Lohrville Wednesday Night

A Fort Dodge man has died in a single-vehicle accident in Calhoun County Wednesday night. The Iowa State Patrol reports that at approximately 8:18 p.m., 36-year-old Jeremy Dylan Caldeira was eastbound on 330th Street, north of Lohrville, when he ran a stop sign while attempting to turn north onto Sigourney Avenue. His 2009 Hummer H3 entered the east ditch sideways, rolled once and partially ejected Caldeira through the sunroof. The vehicle then came to rest on the wheels, and Caldeira fell back into the vehicle, into the lap of an uninjured passenger. The unidentified passenger was able to exit the Hummer through the driver’s side door.
