The Kuemper Ball is scheduled for next spring, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, but the chairs have been busy since the day after the 2017 event. Kuemper President, John Steffes, says there are a lot of good ideas coming out of this year’s leaders.
The one thing many people anticipate with the new year is the chair’s reveal of the Kuemper Ball theme.
In addition to the theme reveal, January will bring a big fundraising event for the annual ball. The Kuemper Ball Winter Jam will be held on Saturday, January 20, they will host a legendary act out of Las Vegas, the Black Donnellys, an Irish Rock band. The entertainment portion of the evening will run from 8 p.m. to midnight at the American Legion Hall in Dedham. The night will also feature craft beers and wines along with light appetizers as well as live and silent auctions. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and tickets for the Kuemper Ball’s Winter Jam are $50 each prior to the event and $60 at the door. There are also a limited number of VIP tables for sale. A charge of $500 will reserve a table for eight, with only 10 tables available for purchase. You must be 21 to attend. Details on how to purchase tickets can be found below.
