The side of a pickup truck was sheared off after it attempted to pass a snow plow in Jefferson last Friday. The Jefferson Police Department responded to 220th and Grimmell Road on reports of the accident at approximately 1:23 p.m. Authorities determined a plow truck, operated by Steven White of Churdan, was travelling westbound on 220th and attempted to make a left turn onto Grimmell. A 2015 Ford F150, owned and operated by Denise Clark of Durant, attempted to pass the truck as it made the turn. The truck collided with the snow blade and stripped the entire passenger side of sheet metal. The snow plow was undamaged, but the Clark truck was deemed a total loss. No injuries were reported, and Clark was cited for unsafe passing.
