A Jefferson woman’s vehicle was totaled in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on 235th Street near S Ave. southwest of Grand Junction. Nineteen-year-old Kara Schroeder lost control of her 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and struck the center of a bridge as well as the guard rail. There was no report of injuries, but there was an estimated $3,500 in damage to the guard rail.
