The Iowa Department of Transportation is reporting that roadways in our immediate area are completely covered with areas to the south and east reporting mostly covered to seasonal. Lt. Jon Cretsinger with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says the county roads are very slick, mainly from a line at 280th Street south of Carroll to the north. He reports that state roads are in better condition, but all motorists are cautioned to drive at speeds appropriate for road conditions and to allow plenty of space between themselves and other vehicles. No accidents have yet been reported to the Sheriff’s Office.
