IowaWORKS of Carroll is bringing a unique type of job fair to Carroll next month that will have potential employees and employers swapping roles. Business Services Specialist, Ashley Ricke, says, “Reverse career fairs are different than your traditional career fair because the job seekers rather than the employers set up booths to show off their knowledge, skills and abilities.” Ambitious candidates will create their own presentations to showcase themselves, and area businesses will move between the booths to meet their future employees. The Reverse Job Fair will be hosted at the Des Moines Area Community College—Carroll Campus on Friday, April 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Preregistration is required to participate.
