A Muscatine man was arrested in Carroll last weekend for allegedly punching out the rear window of a vehicle. At approximately 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, the Carroll Police Department responded to the 100 block of East 11th Street. The reporting party told authorities he was getting into his mother’s vehicle when 33-year-old Nicholas Rafael Sosa approached the SUV and struck the window. Sosa was found with lacerations to his right hand and later admitted to law enforcement he had broken the window after a confrontation with the reporting party. Sosa was arrested and transported to the Carroll County jail where he was charged with fifth-degree criminal mischief, a simple misdemeanor.
