The Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) Auxiliary has announced the completion of their spring project. They have presented more than $4,900 to the facility for the purchase of a new EZ Way Smart Lift. The lift, which has a 1,000 pound lift capacity and a built-in scale, is used to safely transfer patients. This also helps reduce the fall risk and is a tool in the prevention of back injuries to nursing staff. The MRHC Auxiliary supports healthcare projects in the community through their annual membership dues, bake sales and operation of the Manning Plaza Snack Bar.
