In an effort to help area organizations better understand the new voter integrity election laws, Carroll County Auditor, Kourtney Irlbeck, and Iowa Secretary of State, Paul Pate, will be hosting a Voter Ready Roundtable discussion next week. Beginning at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, local organizations can come together to learn more about the new law and how to reach local members. Attendees will be introduced to a tool kit that can be used to help educate others. Irlbeck says they want to get the correct information into the hands of every voter, making sure it is clear, accurate and accessible. The discussion is scheduled as a forum, it is not a rally to express a political agenda or position on the law. It is an opportunity to meet with election stakeholders on the local level, answer their questions and provide them with the tools needed to educate their constituents.
