The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle accident near Spring Lake, east of Jefferson, over the holiday weekend. At approximately 5:38 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, they arrived to find that 49-year-old Bradley Hoyle of Johnston had lost control of his 2007 Honda motorcycle on loose gravel. He was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Emergency Medical Services. The motorcycle sustained approximately $2,000 in damages. Grand Junction Rescue also assisted at the scene.
