Residents Uninjured In Grand Junction Fire That Destroys Home

Residents of a Grand Junction home were able to escape uninjured from a fire that destroyed the structure. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports they were joined by first responders from Greene County Emergency Medical Services, Grand Junction Rescue and the Jefferson Fire Department on the call that came in at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, rescue crews found the home in the 800 block of 11th Street North already engulfed in flames. Luckily, everyone was out of the building when authorities arrived. The house has been deemed a total loss.
