The Jefferson Police Department has received a report of unusual occurrences in the 1000 block of West Adams Street. At approximately 9:28 p.m. on Wednesday night, they were contacted by a resident who was upset that someone has been placing rotting food outside of her door. There is an ongoing investigation into these incidents, and anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 515-386-2136.
