An Ankeny man has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence after running his car into the ditch south of Jefferson. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports they were called to the scene at approximately 6:25 p.m. Saturday on Highway 4 near 260th Street. They found 20-year-old Broderick Greer had lost control of his 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, entered the ditch and then traveled into a corn field.
