Authorities in Storm Lake are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect and vehicle allegedly involved in an attempted abduction Friday afternoon. According to the Storm Lake Police Department, a 14-year-old female reported that a man between the ages of 40 and 60 attempted to order her into his truck on Sunrise Park Road. The victim reportedly screamed and fled on foot without being harmed. Police are looking for an older model two-door pickup truck with greenish coloration and flared wheel wells. The suspect is described as a white male with short dark hair on the sides of his head and longer, lighter hair on top, possibly a hair piece.
