There was extensive damage done to a construction vehicle last Wednesday on a gravel road east of Carroll. At approximately 4:20 p.m. the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident on Robin Avenue. A 1995 Kenworth construction truck, driven by 32-year-old Bryon John Williams of Lake City, was hauling and spreading gravel south on the roadway, when he lost traction and slid into the ditch. The truck rolled over on its side, causing an estimated $40,000 in damage. Williams was uninjured.
