A Carroll man was placed under arrest early Saturday morning after entering a stranger’s residence and setting up camp on their sofa. Police Responded to a home near the intersection of Main and 12th Streets at approximately 3 a.m. on a report from the property owner that a man had entered their house, laid himself down on the couch and began screaming. The residents said the gentleman did not have permission to be on the property, in the home or to sleep on the couch. When officers arrived, they determined that 54-year-old Robert Wayne Arnold was highly intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Carroll County jail.
