Parks across the state are being impacted by the recent heavy rains and flash flooding. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reports that George Wyth State Park in Waterloo is completely closed due to flooding, while others have areas that are currently closed to the public. Brushy Creek State Recreation Area in Lehigh has closed their trails and Ledges has shut down Canyon Road. As rains continue, the DNR says more parks may be impacted.
