St. Anthony Regional Hospital will be hosting their next “To Your Health” community education event, focusing on diabetes. The Wednesday, Oct. 17 session “Is Your Diabetes Puzzling You? Let Us Help You…Put the Pieces Together!” is hosted by the St. Anthony Chronic Care Center. A social hour and vendor fair, specific to diabetes medication, supplies and insurance assistance, will get underway at 5 p.m. at the Carrollton Centre Ballroom, with the program from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. “This event provides fun and educational elements. It allows those living with diabetes or caring for someone with diabetes the opportunity to meet members of our team,” says Cara Vogl, an ARNP at the St. Anthony Chronic Care Center. “Come find out why you shouldn’t panic when managing diabetes or first learning you have been diagnosed. We will give ideas on taking care of your diabetes and how to have fun while doing it, which may surprise you!” The event is free to attend, but registration is requested and can be done through the contact points included here.
