The Carroll Hy-Vee has announced they will be offering new services to their customers by early 2019. Construction is already underway on a new convenience store location, Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh Express, in the store’s north parking lot, and Store Manager, Brad Auge, says they will be offering a lot more than just a place to fuel up when they open.

Auge adds the 1,200 square foot structure, when completed, will also feature four fuel pumps. He says having gas right next door will tie in perfectly with their Hy-Vee Fuel Saver program.

Tentative plans are to have the new Fast & Fresh Express open in the first few month of 2019. Auge says that could be sooner if the weather cooperates.

Auge says the Fast & Fresh Express is just another way they are living their mission statement of making their customers’ lives “easier, healthier and happier.” Once open, the stores operating hours will be from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
