A Crawford County business has received some assistance from a local government agency for the purchase of new equipment. Wise Monkey Quilting, and owner, Amy Healy, received a portion of the Region XII Development Corporation’s revolving loan fund to purchase two long-arm quilting machines and supplies to open the store. The full-service fabric and quilting store offers notions, patterns, quilting services and sewing and embroidery machines. Classes and events will also be hosted each month. The revolving loan fund currently has about $1.2 million available for businesses in Audubon, Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Guthrie and Sac Counties.
