Three men and two women were arrested at a Storm Lake wedding early Sunday morning. Police were notified of a fight in the lobby and parking lot of Kings Pointe Resort at approximately 2:49 a.m. After an investigation, they determined that members of the wedding party got into a verbal disagreement that escalated into a full-fledged fight. Twenty-nine-year-old Brandon Cressler of Humboldt and 31-year-old Joshua Davis of Odebolt were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor. Thirty-five-year-old Cory Schiltz of Breda was also taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication, both simple misdemeanors. Authorities were then called back to Kings Pointe at approximately 4:44 a.m. on the report of a second fight in progress. This time, two women were taken into custody, 28-year-old Shawna Davis of Odebolt and 32-year-old Mellisa Amitrano of Humboldt. Both were charged with disorderly conduct and Amitrano was also charged with public intoxication. No injuries were reported in either incident.
