No matter what the weather this Friday, Kiwanis Club President, Jason Schwarte, says pancakes are a great meal. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Kiwanis will be at the Graham Park Shelter house for their annual pancake feed, and hopefully serving up a record number this year.

Cost for adults and kids 13 and up is $8 and for 12 and under just $4. The money raised is used to support a lot of good works in the community.

All of this is done by some very dedicated members, with about 25 volunteers in the Kiwanis Club. Schwarte says they are happy to have anyone join in and provide whatever assistance they can.

For those interested, but who can’t make it to the meetings, they can stay up to speed through email communications. Friday’s pancake feed is more than just the flapjacks, you will also get sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice.
