A Carroll woman has been cited for a rear-end collision on Monday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department reports they responded to the scene on Highway 30 and Carroll Street at approximately 2:34 p.m. A 2014 Toyota Corolla, driven by 76-year-old Patricia Stout, was westbound on Highway 30 and slowing for the traffic light at Carroll Street. A 2012 Dodge Durango, driven by 28-year-old Heather Green of Carroll, was also westbound, but unable to stop in time to avoid a collision with the slowing Toyota. Stout received minor injuries and was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services for treatment. Green was cited for failure to maintain control.
