A Greene County Deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident in Scranton on Monday morning. At approximately 8:23 a.m., 23-year-old Rodney Blackmon of Grand Junction was driving a 2008 Ford Edge near the intersection of Locust and Jefferson Streets. He turned into a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 44-year-old Douglas Lange of Wall Lake. No injuries were reported, but the Blackmon vehicle sustained an estimated $3,000 in damages and the Douglas’ Silverado suffered about $1,500 in damages. Blackmon was cited for driving while suspended, unsafe passing and failure to provide accident-related proof of security.
