The Jefferson Police Department has arrested a Fort Dodge man for stealing beer from vehicles parked outside the Wild Rose Casino and Resort. At approximately 1:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, security staff advised law enforcement of a male walking through the parking lot and removing items from multiple cars. According to authorities, video surveillance showed 29-year-old Devon Myer of Fort Dodge removing two cans of beer from a cooler located in one of the vehicles. Myers was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft and public intoxication, both simple misdemeanors.
