Temporary Traffic Controls In Place At Intersection Of Highway 30 And Carroll Street Until Next Week

Carroll city officials say temporary traffic control devices will remain in place at the intersection of Highway 30 and Carroll Street until at least the middle of next week. At approximately 7:15 a.m. Friday morning, a vehicular accident destroyed a control cabinet, which caused the east/west and north/south traffic lights to fail. Director of Public Works, Randy Krauel, says the accident severely damaged the cabinet, and replacement parts will not be available until Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the earliest. He advises drivers that stop signs have been placed at the intersection, both northbound and southbound, for the time being. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more information on the accident that knocked out the lights when official reports become available.
