The season of giving begins today and you can help the Carroll County Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Financial Services celebrate their 100th year as they look to collect 100 items. They are hosting a food and coat drive to help area families from Monday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 16. Food items, along with gently-worn or new coats in all sizes can be dropped off at the Carroll County Farm Bureau offices at 408 West 8th Street in Carroll. A full listing of food items needed can be found below.

- Boxed potatoes
- Pasta sides
- Pork and beans
- Canned fruit
- Pancake mix
- Syrup
- Saltines
- Soup crackers
- Soups
- Canned meats
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Any other non-perishable, non-expired food items are welcome
