The Carroll Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of West and 9th Streets at approximately 12:52 p.m. Twenty-five-year-old Jared Lambertz of Carroll was driving a 2008 Ford Econoline westbound on 9th Street and stopped for the posted sign. He then proceeded into the intersection, but had not yielded to an oncoming 2017 Toyota Sienna, driven by 61-year-old Cindy Greteman of Carroll. The van struck the Toyota on the passenger’s side, causing minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Lambertz was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
