Greene County authorities report that there was substantial damage done in a house fire on Monday. The Jefferson and Grand Junction Fire Departments and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at approximately 6:21 p.m. in the 700 block of Railroad Street in Grand Junction. Grand Junction Fire Chief, Adam Hoffman, says that nobody was injured and they believe the fire originated in the home’s attic.
