There was only minor damage reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 30 and Grant Road on Saturday. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 10:45 a.m. They found that a 2017 Ford F-150, driven by 40-year-old Amy Marie Reincke of Carroll, was westbound, but stopped for a red light. She was struck from behind by a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by 38-year-old Ryan Joseph Murray of Jefferson. There was an estimated $1,000 in damage to each vehicle and neither party reported any injuries. Murray was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance.
