The Greene County Sheriff’s Office was called to a couple of accidents at the end of the last week. At approximately 9:37 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, a deputy investigated an overturned semi at 190th Street and A Avenue, north of Ralston. Officials say that 44-year-old Aaron Schulz of Breda was driving the semi and turned too short at the intersection. The truck rolled onto its side and was totaled in the accident. No injuries were reported. The second incident occurred at approximately 2:37 p.m. Saturday on Highway 30, east of Grand Junction near W Avenue. Fifty-seven-year-old Michael Roesch of Ogden was eastbound on Highway 30 when he crossed the center line. Forty-four-year-old Cory Heiman of Carroll swerved to avoid a collision, ending up in the ditch. Roesch was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
